Welcome to The Awakening Ray...
The Awakening Ray is a twofold movement:
- It is the Ray that descends into the material consciousness and awakens it to its own divine self.
- It is also the Ray that rises up from Matter in response to this awakening.
The Awakening Ray symbolises both the human aspiration and the divine response... the divine inspiration and the human response.
The endeavour is to make this newsletter a means of deepening, widening and heightening
these two movements.
A research centre for the growth of consciousness, set up as a non-profit
public charitable trust, in 1996 at New Delhi, aims to make Integral Education a dynamic
reality in the larger social context. The International Centre for Integral Studies (ICIS),
the educational wing of The Gnostic Centre, is a pioneering effort towards the university
of tommorrow. It has four major activities:
- Research
- Resource
- Children's workshops
- Teacher Education
