    Grand Mums' Recipes

    Tulsi Syrup

    Ingredients:

    • Tulsi leaves
    • honey

    Purpose:
    For relief from common colds. Tulsi is a natural antibiotic.



    Method:

    1. Grind tulsi leaves and remove the juice, add honey to it and mix together well and give to the child as required.




    Natural Cough Syrup

    Ingredients:

    • Jaggery
    • turmeric powder
    • eucalyptus oil

    Purpose:
    To cure a cough.



    Method:

    1. Mash jaggery and mix well with turmeric powder, add in 2-3 drops eucalytus oil and make small balls of the mixture.
    2. Can be taken 2 to 3 times a day.



    For dehydartion prevention

    Ingredients:

    • Water
    • sugar
    • salt

    Purpose:
    For dehydration prevention.



    Method:

    1. In 1 glass water, add 2-3 tbsp sugar and a pinch of salt.
    2. Should be taken continously till you see a doctor.




    Sabudana Khichdi

    Ingredients:

    • Sabudana
    • buttermilk

    Purpose:
    For Loose Motions.



    Method:

    1. Boil sabudana in water and add buttermilk and salt.
