Mrs. Vandana Garware

Mrs. Vandana Garware holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Her career spans a period of 16 years wherein she has handled both teaching and fieldwork assignments both at TISS and at The Spastics Society of India.
Currently she works as Deputy Director at the SSI's NIDC, which has been actively involved in the field of vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities since 1989. Today of course, the center is a model of Inclusive Vocational Training because it caters to the needs of non-disabled people too.
Mrs Garware has worked closely with parents and traniees of NIDC and is also guiding the Social workers who work at the other centers of SSI in Dharavi, Colaba and Bandra.

Mr. Bhagvanji Raiyani is the president and founder member of the 'Forum for fairness in Education'. Mr. Raiyani, a man with strong belief and undying faith aims to bring to good and fair education to all children. Despite being non-advocate, he has himself, drafted the writ petitions to be filed in the High Court and argued out the same. It is due to his zeal and efforts that the judiciary today recognizes the 'Forum' as an NGO committed to play the role of a watchdog in the educational field.
